The Book of Belonging is my latest brainchild in a long, meandering writing career. Seriously, I’ve had just about every job you can think of that involves words:
Starving Author->Editor->Ad Writer->High School Poetry Teacher->Blogger->Podcaster…and now, apparently, Children’s Bible Author.
I’m creative, candid and always cold. I’m passionate about creating spaces for people to be messy and devoted at the same time. It’s been a while since I blogged, but you can read some more of my stuff here!

Here’s my friend, Rachel - our amazing illustrator. We were introduced by a fellow artist and her exact cocktail of nerdiness, whimsy, wisdom and staggering talent made her such a perfect fit for this project that my jaw dropped open. She’s brought my stories and vision to life with the precision and insight of a true storyteller. Plus, she tells me how to keep my plants alive and makes a baller sangria. This is Drew. Web Designer, Book Designer, Font Nerd. He also happens to be…mmmyhusband. Together, we’re raising 3 kids, a Princess Fish and a sad vegetable garden. They say that families are either sweet or spicy. Welp, God just keeps tossing lil jalapenos into our pot because WHEW. This house is chock full of feelings, opinions, non-stop questions and aggressive snuggling.
